We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” — Winston Churchill
When we volunteer to help others, we walk in another person’s shoes, which enhances our ability to look out for people in our own lives. A consistent dose of volunteering makes us all more empathetic. It enables our human-kindness to shine.
Mural Sketching for HandsOn Greater Phoenix at Desert Foothills Jr. High
Joining forces with HandsOn Greater Phoenix, AST spent the day sketching and painting inspirational quotes in an effort to promote Racheal's Challenge. Rachael's Challenge exists to inspire and equip every person to create a permanent positive change not only in themselves, but in their schools, their businesses and communities through compassion.
"I have this theory that if one person can go out of their way to show compassion, then it will start a chain reaction of the same. People will never know how far a little kindness can go." - Rachael Joy Scott
"If your company spends four days a year rafting down rivers together, you’ll eventually get good at rafting down rivers. Spend four days a year having well-designed strategy conversations together, and you will transform your annual offsite from a meaningless junket into a genuine turning point for your business."
